The United Center is the largest arena in the country and hosts more than 200 events every year. The arena, home to the Bulls and Blackhawks, is located in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. There are 6,000 parking spaces in the official lots surrounding the arena, but they can be expensive and are only available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Alternatively, there are cheaper parking facilities within a quick walk of the United Center. This guide to United Center parking will help you choose which option is best for you!

United Center Parking Tips
- There is a Divvy Bike Station right next to the arena. There are about 10 Divvy Stations within a mile, so you can park near one of those and bike to the United Center.
- If you park at a metered spot, download the ParkChicago app to replenish your meter from the arena.
- The problem with parking in the United Center lots is having to wait an hour or more just to leave after the game. Instead, you can park elsewhere and simply walk a few more steps to the game, saving yourself that hour and even some cash, thanks to discounted parking rates.
