In 1924, Soldier Field officially opened as a memorial to fallen American soldiers. Since then, the stadium has hosted festivals, concerts, stock-car races, and, most importantly, became the official home to the Chicago Bears.
For Bears Games, driving is a way of life. Whether we tailgate or not, driving to the game will happen without question. Read on to find Soldier Field parking that best suits your needs.
Soldier Field Parking
Location: 1410 South Museum Campus Drive
On-Site Parking: North Garage, South Parking Lot, Waldron Parking Deck, East Museum Lot, Adler Planetarium Lot, and Brunham Harbor Lot (only open on game days in November; cash only). Prices vary depending on the game. Reserve onsite parking here.
Best Nearby Parking: The official lots are a great location, and by far the closest, but you’ll pay premium. The best paid parking is a nearby garage: 1220 S. Michigan Avenue, where you can book online and easily park in a reserved spot.
- There is a Divvy Bike Station 1 minute from the field at 1550 N Lake Shore Dr. There are about 8 Divvy Stations within a mile, so you can park near one of those and bike to Soldier Field.
- If you park at a metered spot, download the ParkChicago app to replenish your meter from the game. You wouldn’t want to cut out during overtime!
